  4. Dear Prospective Alarming Events Owner,

  6. Welcome to your 30 Day Demo of Alarming Events!

  8. Once installed, this demo will run for 30 days.  During that time, you'll be able to use ALL of Alarming Events' features.  After 30 days, you'll see a message stating that the demo has expired when you open the Alarming Events desk accessory.

  10. To get started, open the AE Demo Documentation file (provided in Word 4.0 and MacWrite II format).  The first part of the documentation walks you through the installation procedure.  After that, there's a short tutorial and a reference section.

  12. After your demo, you can purchase Alarming Events from your local dealer or by calling CE Software.  If you do purchase a working copy of Alarming Events, you can import appointments from your demo appointment file directly into the working copy.

  25. Alarming Events supports 24-bit addressing only.

  27. Step five in the Demo Documentation incorrectly tells you copy the CEToolbox to the System folder.  You should copy the CEToolbox to the Extensions folder in the System Folder.   When you copy the Notification Toolbox, you will want to leave it in the System Folder not the Extensions folder.
